Invisible braces are made for adults and old teenagers however these are not for baby teeth. Children and young teenagers will have to go for that old conventional method itself. It is necessary to visit the dentist as he/she is the only right person to decide whether you are a perfect candidate for invisible braces or not.

This was originally designed for adults for absolute and rigid cooperation. The trays are worn for 22 hours per day and must not be forgotten or lost.

Types of Braces:

Different types of invisible braces include ceramic brackets, inside braces as well as clear aligners. Ceramic braces are similar to that of metal braces only the difference is tooth coloured brackets are used instead of metal to have straight teeth.

This doesn’t stain and hence the tooth coloured ceramic gets mixed with the teeth. As a result, these are not noticeable. Inside braces known as inside invisible braces or clear aligners are a step ahead. These make the treatment completely invisible.

Each of Them Has its Own Advantages and Disadvantages.

Ceramic Braces: These are made of composite materials that are weak and little brittle as compared to metal ones. These are large than metal ones and need small rubber bands to hold them to arch wire.

As these ligatures (rubber bands) are white in colour, they can easily stain. They are changed every time you visit your dentist for an adjustment. Ceramic braces are not removable till the completion of treatment.

It can cause irritation and discomfort. Regular cleaning, eating and speaking also become difficult. This treatment lasts long as they are not as strong as metal braces. As compared to metal braces, these are little bit expensive.

Keeping in mind the cost, some just get these braces placed only in visible teeth and on other teeth they prefer those old traditional methods.

Inside Braces:  These are attached to the back of the teeth. Present iBraces use scanned images of the teeth insides to have a special, computer designed custom brackets that are attached to the insides of upper and lower teeth. These are fixed.

iBraces are much expensive as compared to traditional ones. Since, computer manufactured iBraces are new, many orthodontists don’t prefer it to be comfortable and hence don’t offer it as a treatment plan.

Clear Aligners:  These are removable aligners that get fit to your teeth and offer you irritation free treatment with very required comfort. Clear Aligners are nearly invisible and resistant to clouding.

These can be removed while eating, cleaning and other special events. It is easier to brush and floss. If removed, one needs to wear it carefully as they are easier to misplace. This will result in extra replacement costs.

Certified orthodontists are only allowed to sell them. These are costly to maintain.

Among these three ways of teeth alignment; you can choose the one that suits you or you can also consult professional dentists for getting relevant Teeth Alignment Treatment at nominal rates.
